A trip under the Spanish Sun
A proposed Itinerary of this trip follows:
Day 1 – Depart US city (please inquire about possible airfare differential), overnight flight to Barcelona, Spain.
Day 2 – Upon arrival in Barcelona transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit of Old Quarters and walking down Las Ramblas.(D).
Day 3 – Morning visit of La Sagrada Familia and Paseo de Gracia with Gaudí Buildings. Afternoon visit Montjuic (D).
Day 4 – Morning fast train to Madrid. Noon arrival, walk to central hotel.
Afternoon visiting Madrid’s Plaza Mayor, Cathedral and Royal Palace.
Day 5 – Today we visit Madrid’s El Prado Museum and stroll the El Retiro park.
Day 6 – Morning excursion to Toledo; afternoon visit to Alcala de Henares, Cervantes’s birthplace.
Day 7 – Day to visit Salamanca, Segovia and Avila.
Day 8 – Morning drive/train to Seville with a stop in Cordoba the see The Mezquite.
Day 9 – Day in Seville visiting the Cathedral, the Giralda Tower, stroll the Old Quarter.
Day 10 – Morning drive/train to Malaga. Check in hotel. Afternoon visit Picasso Museum.
Day 12 – Day spent visiting the Costa del Sol.
Day 13 – Travel to Granada visiting the White Villages en-route; transfer to hotel.
Day 14 – Day in Granada visiting the Alhambra, the Generalife; stroll the Old City.
Day 15 – Day in Granada.
Day 16 – Morning shuttle transfer to Granada’s airport for return flight home. Lv. Granada, connect in Madrid. Arrive in US.
End of Services.
