Italy in the Fall – When the Food Is Better!
Dear Fellow Traveler,
The other day I was reminiscing and remembered some family friends from some time ago in Peru.
They were Italians living in Peru, like my family. The wife was my teacher in high school, and the husband was a mechanical engineer. They had no children.
His factory was right next to ours and we used to have a morning coffee every day with others from the area. One day, I asked him why he went to visit Italy in the fall and not in the spring when everything was beautiful: flowers blooming, weather nice…
His reply: Harvest is in the fall, so the food is better!!! End of story.
It was with this story in mind that we created our “The ITALY You Want to See” program that can be done in small groups (escorted) of 6 to 7 people OR individually with our “Italy on Your Own” package (min. two people).
For the escorted (by yours truly) version, the land package rate is $2,895 per person sharing a double room. The trip is for 14 days, with proposed dates for the end of OCTOBER or end of NOVEMBER. During this fall adventure we will visit the Italian highlights of Rome, Florence and Venice PLUS the beauties of Cerveteri (Etruscan Necropolis), Porto Santo Stefano, Cinque Terre, Lake Como, and a drive through the Alps. If we can fit more into the schedule, we will! This package Includes all transfers and transportation within Italy; 3* or 4* Hotel accommodations including taxes and service charges; breakfast daily and either lunch or dinner most days; skip the line entrance tickets to (most) venues in the itinerary; escorted throughout.
For individual travelers we have a PROMO package rate of $1,295 per person, sharing a double room. This land only package includes visiting Rome (4 nights), Florence (3 nights) and Venice (2 nights). Available for arrival ANY DAY. Package includes: incoming and outgoing airport transfer tickets; 3* Hotel accommodations including tax and service charges; breakfast daily; train tickets from Rome to Florence and on to Venice; skip the line entrance tickets to: The Coliseum and Roman Forum, The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, The Accademia (David) and the Uffizi Palace Gallery, St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace plus a three-day Venezia Unica pass.
Looking forward to sharing MY Italy with you, with all the pizza, gelato and wines!!!
Raffaele Beltram, Mgr
